According to fox13now.com, Utahn electronic cigarette users feel unjustly targeted by House Bill 245 that will, effectively, put electronic cigarettes in the same category as cigarettes.

The Utah Vapors Association says:

e-cigarettes don’t have any of the harmful effects caused by second-hand smoke produced by regular cigarettes

And, of course, the supports of the bill say:

the FDA has raised questions about e-cigarettes because some of the ingredients could be cancer-causing and the nicotine is addictive.

This, I can see, is why electronic cigarette supporters want the FDA to release the evidence of the findings they used to give the statements they have.  That full debate is for another post.
